We've updated IMVU Web and IMVU Desktop with new alert sounds and enhanced camera controls for seamless navigation!
Alert Sounds
Never miss another friend's invite again! You will now hear pleasant alert sounds when your friends come online, invite you to chat, and more. You can also easily mute these sounds from your settings menu.
Enhanced Camera Control for Seamless Navigation
Experience a new level of camera control with our advanced system. Utilize the familiar WASD keys for smooth and intuitive camera movement and rotation. Effortlessly switch between avatar and world perspectives through a cleverly designed interface.
Hide / Unhide UI Elements in Chat Rooms
Added the ability to hide or unhide UI elements in Chat Rooms, including chat bubbles, seat nodes, and avatar discs.
For someone who has been on the game for a long time, one thing that should be fixed is the constant crashing that happens when a mobile and PC user are in the same lobby. I use a mix of both the OG desktop app and the mobile, using the old desktop client and messaging on the new client on the website. But it has been annoying when ur talking with someone and there is no response and u realize they crashed after 2-3 minutes and then they can't message you or if they say they are online, but they actually aren't.

Good update, I would like to see the same thing added, but when messages are sent discreetly in chat rooms, or through a function to enable it.

I was a able to move around with ease. I love that the suggestions on the discord are being heard. I know personally this helps ppl get the right angle and lighting from the room. Great addition to the game!
