Is there an option not to receive gifts from IMVU, whether gifts or VIP?

Since I pay for VIP, I would only like to receive my monthly credits and that's it.

The gifts that IMVU sends through VIP or through gifts for connecting seem like authentic garbage to me and just crap that only takes up space in my inventory... years ago you could hide them when they were sent to you.

Now you can't hide them...only temporarily because when you log back in you see them again in the most recently added or received items. There's no point in hiding them. I hope they fix that or provide the option to check a box if you don't want to receive gifts...since there's no possibility to block the staff themselves just as you can set to only receive messages from your friends...that option doesn't prevent the staff from continuing to send you junk gifts...they could update or come up with some update to improve this and/or provide the option to stop receiving gifts from IMVU.

There is a way to block those gifts but it requires the windows version of IMVU Classic to access the controls.
