I would like to know what options I have to report a situation of harassment that I am currently going through.
Someone is creating countless alternate accounts with names that are derogatory towards me. I want to believe it's someone who can't accept rejection and is trying to get my attention.
I have over fifty accounts blocked and the number keeps increasing. Is there any way to stop this harassment? I'm afraid that if the situation continues like this, they'll delete my account.
I’m really sorry that you’re experiencing this. What you described sounds like ongoing harassment, and creating multiple alternate accounts to target someone is not acceptable behavior.
While blocking those accounts is a good first step, situations involving repeated harassment and multiple alts need to be reviewed by the official IMVU Support team, as the Community itself cannot stop or investigate this kind of activity.
Please make sure to report each account directly using the in-app reporting tools whenever possible. In addition, we strongly recommend submitting a support ticket so the Support team can review the pattern of harassment, including the use of alternate accounts and offensive usernames.
