Lately I’ve noticed that IMVU Classic’s Create Mode has removed a lot of the old categories and tagging options we used to have when submitting products. While that cleanup makes the interface simpler, it also seems to have reduced the amount of metadata creators can attach to new items. Because of that, Shop Search results feel less accurate — searches don’t always match what I’m actually looking for, and newer items seem harder to find. I’m wondering if anyone else has noticed that the reduced tagging options in Create Mode might be affecting how well the Shop search algorithm can sort and match products.
