IMVU Classic Narration Feature Now Available for Everyone

The Narration (/me) feature is now available to all users on IMVU Classic. Previously limited to VIP and AP, this update makes it accessible to everyone. Narration (/me) lets you express actions or narration in chat. When used, your message appears as styled text that stands out from normal messages, making conversations feel more immersive.
We’ve also expanded support so Narration (/me) now works in the bubble stream, in addition to the chat tool.
We are working to bring this to IMVU Web and Desktop soon, with plans to bring it to IMVU Mobile in a future update.
Update: Narration (/me) is now also available on IMVU Web. At this time, it is supported in chat only and does not yet appear in the bubble stream.
Give it a try and bring more personality to your conversations with Narration (/me)!

Can you also please add the mute chat option on classic too, the one which is available for mobile users to mute anyone's chat if they don't want to read it, please that will be soooo useful and appreciable.....thank you.

I spoke too soon. I only see it in IMVU Web and Classic.
Hopefully updates soon for Desktop and Mobile so we can use it there...and hopefully Android doesn't wait forever for said update.
I would actually use Desktop more if I can use narration in it.

For how many years I've been bringing up this issue and wishing you guys would just simply put that in on all the platforms. I tried it on web last night and it was just cool that I could finally type a narration and have it show up. I'm not exactly sure if I'm happy with how it shows up with my name and things italicized. However, maybe your UX people can dabble with that more and make it distinguished enough to stand out.
Regardless, I think it's cool that it's available to everyone now, but also that you can use it on the new platforms. This alone would actually make me try to start using desktop more as it was something I utilize a lot and wanted to have if I'm going to try to start using the new software more.
