the UX of shopping has gotten significantly worse since like 2015 but has recently hit an all-time low both in mobile and IMVU Classic (not that mobile/desktop was ever good in the first place) Here's a problem in Classic: Why in the world does the search for something as simple as "realistic ears" return 5 (FIVE!) unrelated promoted products? There are 12 slots total and 5 of them are unrelated to the search! There does not even seem to be an algorithm to it, because why would someone looking for ears want to purchase a random denim jumpsuit or plain but big-assed jeans?
The "Enable product recommendations in Shop mode" setting doesn't do anything, it has not been repurposed since the removal of recommended items which were kinda useful at least. Please add a way to opt out of this random slop! Please!
