We're excited to introduce Room Hashtags on IMVU Web and Desktop, a new way to discover conversations, communities, and rooms that match your interests.
Room Hashtags appear directly on room cards and highlight the interests of people currently active in a room. Hashtags you already have on your profile are highlighted, helping you quickly identify shared interests.
With Room Hashtags, you can:
* Discover rooms based on shared interests
* Search for rooms using hashtags, including combinations of up to three hashtags
* Improve your room recommendations by adding hashtags to your profile
* Tell IMVU which topics you're not interested in
* Discover related rooms through hashtag-based recommendations
You can also view why a room was recommended to you, including which hashtags contributed to that recommendation.
For Room Hosts, new hashtag controls make it possible to restrict specific hashtags from being associated with your rooms.
