I am trying to purchase AP + and have spoken to one of the online agents. My question is why am I asked to re-verify my age since I am a VIP member since 2006? Can someone explain to me how to go about this?

I would ask support to check if your Age Verification badge is still verified on the account (it should say that if you go to your Subscriptions on IMVU Next in Settings), if your account is correctly linked to the verified age status, and why the system is prompting you to purchase verification again.
I would avoid buying another token until support confirms why it is asking again, especially if you already completed the process.

VIP and Age Verification are separate features with different purposes. IMVU lists Age Verification as a requirement for AP features.
Verification can involve an age estimation selfie option if you're eligible, or another method such as submitting an accepted ID document.
