From what I understand you have to be invited to join the Beta version, though I'm not sure why you would want that. It doesn't work. Everyone has complained about AP+ since it's conception. I was invited when it started and declined. I already have AP. There is nothing that AP+ can give me that I don't already have. But it's a matter of choice, I guess.
You can try chatting with Customer Service and see if it's available now to you. That's about all I know to do.
