Sound-enabled products are now available on IMVU Mobile! Previously available on IMVU Classic, sounds tied to product actions can now be experienced in Chat Rooms and Live Rooms on IMVU Mobile, with support for IMVU Web and Desktop coming in an upcoming release.
When a sound is triggered through a product action, everyone in the room who has product sounds enabled will be able to hear it. This includes sounds from products worn by avatars as well as products placed within the room.
Prefer a quieter experience? You're in control. You can turn off product sounds at any time through Sound & Vibrations in your settings, preventing you from hearing product sounds from yourself or others. This feature is currently in beta, and we'll be monitoring performance and listening to community feedback as we continue expanding support across the platforms.
