Yes, you can change your username, but how you do it depends on your account status and the platform you are using. Here are the official ways to do it:
If you have a VIP Membership: You get one free Name Change token per month as long as your subscription is active. You can use it via the IMVU Website by going to Account > Change Name.
If you want to buy a Name Change Token: If you are not VIP, you can purchase a 'Name Change Token' directly from the IMVU Shop using real money (not credits).
Through the Mobile App (iOS / Android):
Go to your Profile page.
Tap on Edit or the gear icon (Settings).
Tap on your Username to change it. (It will prompt you to use a token or subscribe to VIP if you haven't already).
Important Note: You can only change your name if you have already registered your current name. Also, your new name must follow IMVU's community guidelines and cannot be taken by another active user. Hope this helps!
