On Windows
STEP 1. Open the command prompt.
- Go to Start > Run.
- Type cmd and press the Enter key.
- This will bring up a command prompt window. It has a line that looks like this:
STEP 2. In the command prompt, type: tracert imvu.com
STEP 3. Wait a couple of minutes for this to complete.
STEP 4. Take a screenshot
- Press Win + PrtScn to save the screen to the Screenshots folder in your pictures folder, Win + Shift + S, or return to your start menu and launch the snipping tool.
- Save this file.
STEP 5. Send us this screenshot file.
On Mac
STEP 1. Open a terminal window. For more information, you can check out this link: https://www.idownloadblog.com/2019/04/19/ways-open-terminal-mac/.
STEP 2. In the terminal, type: traceroute -I imvu.com and press return.
STEP 3. Wait a couple of minutes for this to complete.
STEP 4. Take a screenshot:
- Press Shift-Command-4
- Drag to select the terminal window area of the screen to capture. To move the entire selection, press and hold Space bar while dragging.
- This file is saved to the desktop.
