How to Run a Traceroute

On Windows

STEP 1. Open the command prompt.

C:\Documents and Settings\yourname> _

with a cursor blinking next to the > symbol.

STEP 2. In the command prompt, type: tracert imvu.com

STEP 3. Wait a couple of minutes for this to complete.

STEP 4. Take a screenshot

Press Win + PrtScn to save the screen to the Screenshots folder in your pictures folder, Win + Shift + S, or return to your start menu and launch the snipping tool.
Save this file.

STEP 5. Send us this screenshot file.

STEP 2. In the terminal, type: traceroute -I imvu.com and press return.

STEP 3. Wait a couple of minutes for this to complete.

STEP 4. Take a screenshot:

Press Shift-Command-4
Drag to select the terminal window area of the screen to capture. To move the entire selection, press and hold Space bar while dragging.
This file is saved to the desktop.
