Promotional credits (also called "promo credits" or "predits") are a special type of credits that can be earned and spent within the IMVU community. While regular credits are purchased with real-world cash, predits can be earned for free.

Where can I spend Promo Credits?

Promo credits can be spent in much the same way as regular credits. They can be used to buy items in the Catalog.

However, when buying items, normal credits are always spent first. You will only be able to spend your predits when your regular credits have run out. Predits cannot be transferred to another account, and they cannot be used to pay for the following transactions:

• Buying Outfits

• Buying gifts for other accounts

• Buying Music in the Music Store

• Buying Shoutouts

• Paying for submission fees (for Creators)

I’m a Creator. Can they purchase my products using Promotional Credits?

Yes. Each time a user pays for your item with Promotional Credits, you will receive 1 Developer Token for that transaction.
