Age-Verified (AV) Rooms are exclusive spaces for adult users (18+) who have completed Age Verification. If you're looking to connect with other verified adults in a more secure setting, these rooms are for you!

What are Age-Verified Rooms?

When a room is marked as Age-Verified:

• Only users who have completed Age Verification can join the room. 

• The room will display an AV badge on the room tile and room card.

• The room will appear for users who filter Chat by 'AV Only' and will also be featured in a section of the Chat Landing page for age-verified users.
  

How to Make Your Room Age-Verified

As a host, you can set your room to be Age-Verified only. To do this, open your room settings and toggle the Require Age Verification option on.

Age Verification Is Required to Join Age-Verified Rooms

Even if you're 18 or older, you must complete Age Verification to enter any Age-Verified room. Being 18+ isn’t enough without verification.

Filtering and Browsing

You can filter your room search to only show Age-Verified Rooms, making it easier to find spaces that match your preferences. All Age-Verified rooms will be clearly labeled with an AV badge.

Inviting Others to Age-Verified Rooms

You can invite any adult user to an AV-only room, even if they haven’t verified their age. However, if the person you invite is not age-verified, they may not receive the invitation or be able to join the room. 

How to Get Age-Verified

To access Age-Verified rooms, you’ll need to complete Age Verification through Veriff. You’ll need: 

• A valid government-issued ID (passport, license, or national ID).

• A working camera to take a selfie (desktop or mobile).

Once you’ve submitted your info, verification usually takes just a few minutes.
