IMVU lets you get creative on multiple levels, and one of its best manifestations is in Chat Rooms. With a public Chat Room, you can invite friends and family for meet-ups, role-playing, virtual parties, and more! If you're a VIP, you can open up to a total of 15 public rooms for non-stop fun!

But what if you're not yet VIP, or when these chat rooms simply aren't enough? For this, IMVU offers its users the option to open as many public rooms as they like with Chat Room Slots!
 

What is the Chat Room Slot, and how much is it?

A Chat Room Slot allows you to own an additional public room for each purchase. It can be purchased at the IMVU Website Store under Upgrades. The regular price is at $29.99.
 

Do I get anything else with the Chat Room Slot?

The first Slot purchase comes with a fully furnished Beach Party room.
 

Do I get a furnished room with every slot I buy?

No. You will get the furnished room (currently it is a beach party room) with the first slot you purchase. In the future, customers who purchase their first slot, may get a different room.
 

Can I purchase as many Slots as I wish?

Of course! There is absolutely no limit to how many slots one can buy.
 

I am a VIP, and I want to buy a Slot. Will I get a new Public Room slot upon purchase?

Yes, even VIPs can get as many additional slots as they wish!
 

Is this a One-Time fee?

Yes, the slot is yours to keep after the one-time purchase.
 

Do I have to open/use the Chat Room Slot immediately?

No. You may use the slot whenever you wish -- it will always remain with you.
 

How many friends can I invite in the additional Chat Room?

The limit of 10 users at a time remains with additional Public Rooms.
 

Do Public Rooms set up with the Chat Room Slot remain open indefinitely?

Like with default Public Rooms, these Slots will only remain open if the user is not disabled or inactive for more than 90 days.
