What happens if I redeem the wrong item with my IMVU Gift Card?

IMVU Gift Cards are widely available, and are convenient ways of signing up for credits, VIP, and Age Verification.

In case you end up redeeming the wrong product with your card, contact Customer Support immediately. You may do so by filing a Help Ticket, or if you're VIP, through our Live Chat. You may also contact our Customer Support hotline at 1-866-761-0975 (U.S. toll-free) or at 1-650-321-8334 (International). These numbers are available from 6AM to 6PM PST, 7 days a week.

It is IMPORTANT to leave the product that you redeemed untouched so they can be converted to your desired product. For example, you accidentally redeemed 10,000 credits with your $10 Gift Card. If you want it converted to VIP instead, the 10,000 credits should still be intact. If you use the credits, the redemption is considered final.
