IMVU members love to dress up their avatars in style and our amazing creators design clothing and accessories to help them do so. Our creators have a unique sense for fashion design and know just the perfect combination of clothes and accessories to showcase an avatar. Now we have made it easy for all our fashionistas to design and sell the coolest of outfits in our virtual catalog and for our members to buy these ensembles to make their avatars look their trendiest!

We invite and welcome our creator community to submit their best designs and start selling them to our avid shoppers! We are looking forward to having all of our members shop for the outfits that fit their own personal style and taste and show them off!
How do I sell outfits in IMVU’s Catalog?
To create and sell an Outfit, you have to be a Creator. If you are already a registered IMVU Creator, you can start creating and selling outfits today. Not a Creator yet? Simply go here to read and sign our Creator Agreement and register to be part of our Creator community.
STEP 1. Put together your favorite outfit in the Dress-Up mode.
STEP 2. Save it using the Save Outfit feature.
STEP 3. Go to My Outfits (hanger icon). Click the blue “i” icon for the outfit you wish to sell. This will open up the outfit information card.
STEP 4. Click Sell in the upper right corner.
STEP 5. Choose the gender for the outfit to make it appear in the appropriate section of the catalog.
STEP 6. Click on Submit to Shop button in the upper right corner. Submission cost for an outfit is 500 credits and the profit for each outfit is pre-set at 100 credits.
Your outfit is now available for sale in IMVU’s Catalog. Our system will designate a name and the product icon will be the standard. Price will include profits for all the creators of the items included in the outfit, IMVU’s fees, as well as your 100 credit profit.
Note: An outfit can be sold if all included items are “bundleable” i.e their creators have allowed them to be included in a bundle or an outfit. You can click on the “can not be sold” warning text for an outfit to see which items do not meet such criteria.
