Just like in real life, credits can be earned in IMVU. One of the ways to earn credits is through offers from our advertisers.
There are dozens of unique offers from our partners hosted here, and each has different requirements for completion.

You must fully complete an offer in order to earn any IMVU Credits. In some cases, your offer may have to be validated or processed before IMVU Credits can be awarded. However, your earnings status is updated frequently. You can view the status of all completed – or in process – activities on the offer page. Click the Customer Support or Offer Status button located on the Partner Offers page to view the list of actions you have undertaken.
IMVU encourages you to carefully review the terms and conditions associated with these offers. In order to qualify for many offers, a valid email address must be provided, and the terms and conditions of enabling the use of this email address for marketing purposes usually must be accepted by you in order to participate in the offer.
I completed the survey/special offer/required purchase but I’ve not yet seen my IMVU Credits appear in my account. What’s going on?
There are cases when IMVU Credits can take two or more days to appear, so please be patient. Please closely read any offer details.
However, there are series of issues which may complicate the delivery of IMVU Credits. Common issues include:
- If you have ad-blocking software, which prevents advertisers from placing the cookies required to track the offer
- If your browser security settings are configured not to accept third-party cookies
- If you have a software on your computer, which hijacks the cookies and credits the offer completion to another company
- If you did not qualify for the offer due to your age or location
- If the email address that you used when participating in the survey is different from the one used on your account
If the above instances do not apply, follow these steps to properly inquire about your credits. Note that support is provided directly by our partners.
STEP 1. Go to: https://www.imvu.com/next/earn_credits/offers.
STEP 2. Look at the right part of the page and click the button referring to Offer status, Customer Support, Contact Support, Support or something similar (sometimes found at the bottom part of the page). Note that different partners may call this section different names. Some partners also have icons instead of text links.
STEP 3. A new window should open with all of the offers you have viewed or completed. Read the details on this page, which should also contain the process in getting help for your missing credits.

While IMVU is seeking to expand both the range of offers and the countries in which offers are presented, please note that fraudulently representing yourself to IMVU sponsored offers may result in your account being terminated. Please only undertake offers and surveys for which you qualify.
