IMVU Website is where you can access groups, web shop, Discussions, messages, etc. It is modern, clean and easy to use. We have already pulled in some of your favorite features that were previously only available in IMVU Classic (IMVU Client) (and recently on IMVU Mobile) - dress up using your items and outfits, chat in rooms, try on items that you want to buy in Shop (including furniture and rooms), and more. You can also access the Feed in addition to creating and sharing your own photos using the fun new Photobooth feature - exclusive to IMVU Website and IMVU Mobile.
Continuous Development
It is very important to note that IMVU Website is not being designed to be a replacement for our 3D chat but more as the evolving and modern version of our current website in addition to providing easier connection to the IMVU experience for users who are away from their downloaded IMVU Classic (IMVU Client). We are constantly improving the experience to give you access to all your most-used features!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Your IMVU Website experience may default to 2D, which will not allow you to get the full experience. To go 3D, simply access the Settings and turn on the 3D option. This will allow you to move and rotate your avatar in Dress Up, Shop, and Chat.
Browser and OS Compatibility
As of this moment, IMVU Website is available for Firefox (v.62 and up), Chrome (v.68 and up), Microsoft Edge (v.42 and up), and Safari (v.11 and up).
It runs on Windows (7-10) and Mac OS (Sierra and High Sierra). It can also be ran on iOS 11 and above through Safari (v.11 and up).
How do I access the IMVU Website?
Getting there is simple: simply type in www.imvu.com/next in your browser's address bar and you're on your way!

How do I go back to IMVU Classic Website?
If you'd like to access IMVU Classic Website, an option is available under Settings. Simply click your avatar picture on the upper-right of the screen, and click IMVU Classic Website.
Exploring IMVU Website
Note that this list of features is far from being final -- we are still updating (adding/changing) the features of this project, and this article will be continuously updated to reflect these.
IMVU Website allows you to access your existing profile, friends, credits, and inventory in a place always available to you.
FEED
This is the first item seen when going to IMVU Website. It is a merging of Pulse and Photostream features. Note that extra-long Pulse posts are already truncated, and can be fully read by clicking on them.
On the IMVU Classic Website, things you post here will be shown in either Pulse or Feed.
DRESS UP
You can change your look using any item you already purchased, or will be purchasing in the future. You can also wear the outfits you have already saved, and save new ones in the process. Notice the new look of the product icons -- they are system generated, so they are more consistent and easy on the eyes!
SHOP
You can now shop for clothes and accessories anytime and anywhere, trying on items and checking out with your 5% VIP discount (for VIP Platinum, VIP Diamond, and VIP Emerald users)! Search and filter by gender, price, and GA/AP (for Access Pass holders). Items are sorted just as in the IMVU Classic Website shop. Just like in Dress Up, you will currently see system-generated icons.
CHAT
Join the party in your favorite chat room via IMVU Website! By default, 2D experience is enabled though you can always switch to 3D through the Settings menu.
The scenes and avatars are still being improved for optimal speed and performance, so a little latency may be present if you use 3D. if you are in a hurry and just want to chat, you can always switch back to 2D.
The Chat function of IMVU Website also allows you to send and accept private invites.
FRIENDS
Like on the IMVU Classic Website, you can also search for and make new friends while staying connected with your old ones. You can invite them to a private chat or send them a message.
MESSAGES
You are never too far away from your friends and family on IMVU Website. You can check your messages and respond to them. You can also start new conversations.
CREDITS
Click on the "C" symbol on the upper-right to go to the Credit store, same to what is available on the IMVU Classic Website. All payment methods and ongoing sales can be accessed from here.
PROFILE CARDS
You can also access your own profile cards as well as those of others -- view their AP/VIP status, see their interests and taglines, view their profile pictures and connect with them!
PHOTOBOOTH
This is one of the new and awesome features of IMVU Website! Create awesome photos with your avatar in a variety of IMVU and real-world backgrounds! Click here to read more about the Photobooth. Currently this is only available on the IMVU Website and IMVU Mobile.
