My item disappeared from my Inventory!

Some items may be accidentally hidden. You may use the Web Inventory to search for your items by setting the "Visible" or "Hidden" filters on the upper left. Most often, items may be set to "Hidden" using this tool. As such, they do not appear in IMVU Classic's (IMVU Client) inventory.


But there are rare times when an item can disappear entirely.
 

The most common reasons that this may occur are: 

  • The item submitted violated Trademark (TM) or Copyright (DMCA) law, as seen in our Terms of Service.

  • The item was in violation of IMVU's Terms of Service or was submitted inappropriately to the catalog and the status has since been changed;

  • The developer (or IMVU) hid or removed the item from the catalog for another reason (i.e.: the item was broken the developer made it as a limited edition etc)

  • You have deleted the item through IMVU Mobile (iOS) Inventory. 


Remember: Once you permanently delete an item, it will no longer be available in your inventory or in looks and cannot be recovered. Learn more about deleting items in your inventory here.


If you just purchased the item, check your transaction history to make sure that the transaction was completed.


To review your transaction history:

Click on the Account tab at the top of the IMVU Classic Website go to the section in the middle right of the page entitled Order History and click on View Credits Balance Log. Each credit transaction you made is listed on that table as are any credit changes made to your account (rewards referrals adjustments etc). You can look up transactions by date. If you have any questions about a particular transaction, please use the Help Request ticket.
