Here are some Frequently Asked Questions about the IMVU Inventory.
 

What are the common reasons why your item disappeared from your inventory?

The reasons are the following:

  • The item was inappropriately rated or in some way violated IMVU's Terms of Service.

  • A copyright holder reported that their property was stolen, making it necessary for IMVU to remove the product.

  • The product may have been renamed or its icon may have changed. Use your Web Inventory to find the product. If you are on iOS and currently subscribed to VIP Diamond or VIP Emerald, you can also check your inventory through the mobile app. 


What can I do if my purchased items are not in the Inventory?

Click here to check your Web Inventory and try to search the items you purchased. If you are on iOS and currently subscribed to VIP Diamond or VIP Emerald, you can also check your inventory through the mobile app. If the items are still not in your inventory you may check your transaction history to confirm that the purchase has been made.

Where can I see all my items?

You can see all your items when you access your Web Inventory page. You can also see your items in the IMVU Classic Client.

How can I access the Web Inventory?

The web inventory can be accessed either through your account page or via the Classic Client.

Can I access my inventory through the IMVU mobile app?  

Yes. Inventory is accessible on IMVU Mobile App for both iOS and Android. Simply tap the “Change Your Look” tile on your Home Screen.

How can I unhide items from my inventory?

Hidden items are still visible in your Web Inventory. In order to make them visible again, simply click on the "show" button under each item. Hidden items are marked with a dark gray box.


What is the purpose of hiding items from your inventory?

The hiding option in the inventory allows you to hide item/s from appearing within IMVU's interface. It does not delete the item from your possession; thus, you can unhide an item anytime.


How do I delete an item from my inventory?

You now have an option to delete an item from your inventory on the iOS IMVU Mobile App with Diamond and Emerald VIP. Coming soon to Android and IMVU Desktop Beta.

Can I transfer an item to someone else?

No. Items cannot be transferred from one account to another.
