Users have previously reported that they have been contacted by scammers offering a "lifetime VIP" or an "extreme VIP" membership in exchange for sending money via Western Union to an account in the Philippines or elsewhere. IMVU does not currently have any plans to offer a lifetime VIP membership, and IMVU will never solicit funds this way. VIP promotions will only be offered via our own store. Never trust external links if you're going to make a purchase!
