IMVU Credit generators are a common scam you may run into on the Internet. They are everywhere: Google search results, YouTube videos, Feed posts, and especially within chat rooms.
Beware: These never work and will more than likely result in losing access to your account or downloading a virus onto your computer! Please protect your own account.
Never give your password to anyone...not even someone who claims to be Staff. Real Staff will never ask for your password.
Look at the address bar before you login. Are you sure you're at IMVU.com? Are you sure you're not already logged in? Remember that there are a lot of phishing sites made to look like IMVU, but are not in any way related to us.
Never download or access anything that makes a claim of providing cheats or generating credits. These just don't work.
And ALWAYS make sure you only take Credit offers from IMVU and its legitimate partners, to protect your account! Here's more information on this topic.
