In IMVU, music tracks can only be played as an organized music mix stream for an audience of two or more users. This is also known as a Music Mix. This music mix is a little different from a standard MP3 player where you can jump around to different songs that you want to play. In order for you to hear your favorite music on IMVU, you need to create your music mix.

Below are some of the common causes why you are getting an error message when saving your music mix:

CAUSE 1: Number of Tracks

You may have less than three tracks on your mix.

All music mixes must have a minimum of three (3) tracks. There is no maximum number of tracks that you can include in every mix.

CAUSE 2: Track Limitation per Artist

You may have more than two tracks from a single artist, from a single album.

There is a maximum of two (2) tracks from a specific artist from a specific album or from a specific album compilation in any mix tape.

CAUSE 3: Mix Titles

Your title may contain the name of any of the tracks or artists.

Your mix can in no way identify the specific content of the playlist in the mix title. This means that the title of songs and the specific artist names may not be included in the mix title or description
