On IMVU Classic
STEP 1. Log in via IMVU Classic Website.
STEP 2. Go to your Account Settings.
STEP 3. Under Friend & User Settings, click on “Become unsearchable”
STEP 4. Your Account Setting page will refresh and your email address will show up “unsearchable”.
Can I do this through IMVU Mobile, too?
The option is currently unavailable on iOS devices, but if you are on Android, you may refer to the steps below:
STEP 1. Log in via mobile app.
STEP 2. At the top right part of the page, tap on your avatar picture.
STEP 3. Tap on Edit located at the upper right corner of your screen.
STEP 4. Scroll down and toggle off the Email search switch.
What if I am on the IMVU Website?
There is no option to make your email unsearchable via IMVU website.
