Can I delete or transfer an item?

You can now delete your inventory items on IMVU Mobile (iOS) with Diamond or Emerald VIP. Coming soon to IMVU Mobile (Android) and IMVU Desktop.

For non-VIP Diamond and non-VIP Emerald users:

Once you own an item in IMVU, it's yours forever. It cannot be deleted or transferred to another user. However, an item can be hidden in your inventory so you do not see it. In order to hide an item, follow these steps:

STEP 1. Click here to go to your IMVU Classic Website Inventory and look for the item that you wish to hide. The products you own can be filtered to make finding them easier.

STEP 2. Click on the Hide button. Hidden items are marked by a darker background. Once an item is hidden, you will no longer see it in your inventory when in IMVU Classic (IMVU Client).

STEP 3. To show a hidden item, simply click on the Show button. The product will be visible again.
