What are Tier Levels?
IMVU's Tiers system is intended to inspire developers to have a broader participation in IMVU. It has 10 levels (not including Tier 0), with each level giving Creators submission discounts and increased credit transfer limits. Those who are currently at tier 7 or higher will have the ‘Pro’ tag on their products.
How do I raise my Tier Level?
Once every calendar month, IMVU assesses the performance for the previous month of activities. Your Tier level is determined by your number of points.
These points are categorized into the following:
- Creation
- Sales
You can also earn Bonus Points while making products for your shop and building your brand.
How do I see my current Tier Points?
To view your current Tier points, go to https://www.imvu.com/creators/creator_dashboard.php and click on the "My Tier" tab.

How do I see my past Tier Points?
IMVU does not keep a history of Tier Points, so it will be a good idea to keep your own record as soon as the monthly stats are released.
But I performed really well five months ago!
Your current scores will only reflect the previous month's activities. Your scores five months ago will not play a part in this month's Tier Points.
What does a higher Tier Level get me?
As your Tier Level increases, so do your benefits:
Badges. Show off your Creator level!
Submission Fee Discounts. Your submission fees will decrease as you move up Tier levels.
- 500 credits - Tier 0
- 465 credits -Tier 1
- 430 credits - Tier 2
- 395 credits -Tier 3
- 360 credits -Tier 4
- 325 credits -Tier 5
- 290 credits -Tier 6
- 255 credits -Tier 7
- 220 credits -Tier 8
- 185 credits -Tier 9
- 150 credits -Tier 10
Note that losing tier levels will also reduce your discounts, causing your submission fees to increase.
"Pro" Tag. For those Level 7 and above, a "Pro" tag will appear on your account.
Increased Credit Transfer Cap & Credit Transfer Lock Immunity. This allows you to transfer more credits to other users and/or alternate accounts.
The Tier Level is solely meant to be a motivational tool, a way to track your growth as a Creator and as a member of the Community. In the end, however, users who buy from the Catalog will be the judge. What matters most is the quality of your products.
