Why is the Tier Program being updated?

The previous program remained unchanged for over a decade, and Creators have long requested improvements. Our goal is to ensure that all Creators—regardless of experience level—benefit from their activity and contributions.

What does that mean for me as a Creator?

The new program rewards engagement and activity more effectively. The more you create, sell, and participate, the more you progress through the Tiers and unlock rewards. We’ve also introduced more ways to earn points, making it easier for Creators at all levels to advance.

Why did the program expand from 7 Tiers to 10?

We wanted to make Creator progression more transparent. By increasing the number of Tiers, we provide clearer milestones so you can better track your growth and achievements.

Are the benefits the same as before?

Yes! The benefits remain unchanged, but they are now distributed across 10 Tiers instead of 7, allowing for a more balanced and rewarding experience.

Have Credit Transfer Limits changed?

Not significantly. Here’s how they compare:

  • Tier 0 and Tier 10 have the same limits as Tier 0 and Tier 7 in the old program.

  • Tiers 1 through 9 now have evenly distributed limits instead of being grouped into fewer levels.

Will the new Tier Program slow down Peer Review?

Not at all! We’re actively monitoring Peer Review to ensure a smooth process. The speed of approvals remains the same as before, and participating in Peer Review is still the best way to keep things moving quickly.

Is the IMVU Catalog being affected by the new Tiers?

We’ve seen no negative impact on the Catalog as a result of the changes.

Why are product ratings no longer included in Tier calculations?

Since the current rating program isn’t widely accessible, we’ve temporarily removed it from Tier calculations. Once we introduce a new rating program, we’ll consider adding it back as a metric.
