In almost four years of creating I have never had a situation like this. I wondered if I really submitted the items or just thought I had. Finally in digging through I found product IDs and sure enough they existed and were published. But they did not appear in my shop catalog view where other items that also did not yet have a decision in peer review appeared. I found that in making quick edits to the description, in a few seconds they appeared in my catalog. I can provide product IDs if this is useful. They are not yet out of peer review and are of course delayed since I made edits to the description.

You're welcome @RigsK . If it happens again (hopefully not) I'll post an update. Probably the best thing is to have the fix (get the product IDs from Product List and then post some kind of change under Add HTML Description and click the submit button) listed in customer service notes in case a creator writes to them asking about a missing item.

Thank you @cbmvb! Yes, you're right, this will be difficult for our engineers to replicate. I'll make a note of it though, in case this happens again. Appreciate the detailed notes. Very helpful.

Hi @RigsK ever since I did the HTML Description edit (adding a space in this case but really any kind of edit will likely fix it as long as the change is submitted) they have not disappeared. I think this might be hard to track down in terms of why or how to fix it because it is so random as to the items where it happens. The only one thing they have in common so far is that they have been clothing for female avatars. But, when it happens the first time to a creator they might begin to wonder "Did I actually submit this? Is it published?" The first time it happened I was almost thinking I needed to submit the original two products again, until I found product IDs for them showing I did actually submit them. So, if this happens to anyone else they need to look at their Product List to get the product IDs and then click the IDs, go into the HTML Description link, make a change (either to title or description) and submit. Then in a few minutes they should be visible again.
For purposes of bug tracking I made a couple of screen capture diagrams.
So right now, the most recent nine items in my shop are in peer review. I added a red overlay to those items when looking at all my items while I am signed in.
Then, when the glitch happened, the three I mentioned simply were no longer visible from this view. So, in the illustration below I have blue slashes over those three. When the glitch happened, obviously that entire line just wasn't even present. Even the number of items it was showing me as being in my shop (which counts all approved items, those still in peer, plus those approved but marked as hidden from the public shop) was reduced by three.

Hi @cbmvb super helpful, thank you! Are the three products below still appearing then disappearing from your personal view of your shop?
To further clarify when I talk about being able to view the items I submitted as long as I am signed in, it is similar to how I can view any items I have marked as hidden / not visible to the shop. Basically, all the items that are going through peer review and not yet approved are visible to me as if they are "hidden" or not intended to be displayed in the shop. But in this case, the items whose product IDs I listed were visible for a while, then not even visible that way until I made some change to the HTML description. Then, a few minutes after the change, they became visible to me (as long as I am signed in) again.

Hi @RigsK what I mean is my own personal view of items in my shop while I am signed in. I can see my submitted items in my view of "my shop" (as in items submitted by me) before they get approved in peer review. So, for the past almost four years when I submit something, even before it gets approved in peer review I can see it when viewing my own items. Other users of course cannot until it gets approved via peer review. And, for example, if I search items made by me with a word either in the title, keywords, or description, it will also show up for me (but not anyone else) even if not yet approved in peer review. So, in the case of these five items, even doing that keyword search would not show those items. But it would show other items that had the same word even if not yet approved in peer review. This is all in reference to when I am looking at items made by my account while I am signed in on the web to my account.
But indeed if I was signed in via my alt or if another user was looking at it, of course none of the items that have not yet been approved in peer review would show up. That part is working as intended.

Hi @cbmvb thank you for checking in. Since the 3 new products in question haven't passed peer review yet - they shouldn't be showing up in the shop, even if they are showing up in your product list. So I think things are working as intended. If I'm misunderstanding the issue let me know :)

To clarify, today's three did initially show up for a while, then disappeared entirely from my view of my shop. After any kind of edit in the HTML description, they were visible again a few minutes later.

@RigsK thanks for being willing to look into this. It happened again today. The original two mentioned above passed peer review and are visible like all other items that have passed peer review. Today it has happened to three items created almost two hours ago. They DO show up in the Product List under Creator Reports. (This is something I didn't think to check in the first situation....I used browser history and the Credit Balance Report to find the product IDs with the first two.) Once again, just going into the Add HTML Description section and doing any simple edit (adding a space to the description this time) made them appear again.
In the time between those two sets, a number of other items had been created that didn't have the glitch.

I also forgot this part... Ultimately the "edits" I did were just changes to the title or description via the web. I did also try to use the Edit Product link to look at them in Classic (both were made in Classic not Studio). After being published many hours before, one of them said it was not yet ready to be edited. The other opened fine. Then the one that had a problem also opened a few minutes later.
