I've spoken/been ignored by imvu for years on this. But why do meshers not get punished for breaking the IMVU ToS? And please do not say report the item. It does not work. Frankly I believe the only reason meshers are doing it in the first place is because they see other meshers getting away with it, so it spreads like wildfire. And I get their frustrations, because they have to compete against people who don't get punished for it. I do not think most of these meshers would manipulate the MCG in the first place if it weren't the fact IMVU refuses to ever punish a mesher for it. So naturally they have to risk their accounts to have a fighting chance against those who do. It's absolutely ridiculous and needs to be addressed. Not just addressed, but action needs to be taken. Clearly every mesher has seen IMVU is not home when it comes to enforcing the rules.

Why would they bother when flagged items that get passed in peer then re flagged in the shops are left. The whole system seems to be one huge mess, or staff do not have a clue when you talk to them in cs.

Perhaps it is a matter of retraining those needed to agree with the needed re-rates. It happens time to time when detailed training is needed.
The Virtual Goods Policy addresses this issue and gives reference. From the policy, highlighted below.

@Nums You are perfectly right! I saw too that a lot of meshers started to manipulate a lot the MCG. Soon the GA shop will be the same with the AP, only because they remove the parts where the MCG should be and IMVU doesnt take any action. Its very fustrating because we know that is against the TOs, a lot of the meshes get the first pages and we cant do the same because we know that we will risk our accounts.
In this point we dont know if this is allowed or not because its against the TOs but IMVU doesnt take any action.

I have seen the tucking in the Red part of the MCG. It *should* be UFI (now) as it always has in the past.
Creators in the past were removed from the Creator Program and some were completely banned. I am
not exactly sure if this is the case you are discussing but I am here to say ...
Amen.
