To streamline our efforts and focus on delivering more of the features you love, we've made the decision to discontinue Light (Theme) Mode. This will not only reduce engineering effort and maintenance but also pave the way for a more efficient and feature-rich IMVU.

I find the complaints amusing. For so long everybody keeps commenting how they like the look of classic compared to the new stuff, and yet now they are pretty much going to color things like classic and people are still complaining.

I'm done. I just need one more reason to say bye. You allow multiple Avis accounts which are used to pretend ( not in a fun fantasy way, mind you) and hurt other customers. You're creating a 3D lord of the flies here....I'll pass. And take my $ with me. I'm done.

I LOVE HE DARK ITS GOOD FOR MY EYES AND THE BEAUTIFUL COLORS EXCELLENT AND U CAN USE BRIGHT FOR UR WARDOBE BEST THING IM SEEN FOR AS GRAPHICS THE COLORS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND FUTURE REALISTIC

Most of us in this IMVU are longtime customers/members. We have put most of our time and money here. IMVU could have asked our opinion or allow us to Vote on Dark Mode or Light mode and allow us to give our opinion before telling us IMVU will make changes. Be considerate.

The dark mode might be "modern look" in your opinion, but it is actually hard on the eyes on the computers and on mobile .... it would be really nice to be able to have a choice. As for the theme of the multicolored neon alley theme on mobile ... it is horrendous! I have been adding my own background because yours is not generic or neutral enough. Going back to dark theme, how does this "reduce engineering efforts." Can you please explain that effort in detail. Or is that code for firing people?

Nice update, it improves the visual aspect, but I'm not convinced by the organization of the icons, maybe it would be ideal to put a vertical side bar to make the entry more "minimalist". and that the avatar display is more customizable. We also need in some way an improvement in the loading of "cache" when starting a room in imvu next, sometimes it doesn't load well enough.

Give us an option to choose between the two. many people have issues with the dark theme and prefer to use the light theme as I've seen multiple people mention in these comments. With this feature you're not helping the IMVU web, desktop, and mobile app be more user-friendly at all. Seems like you are all just doing whatever for your OWN convenience, and it is highly disappointing.

Absolutely cannot use dark mode can't see and it's terrible you will lose many ppl if you force this on ppl. At least give us s choice I say no to black cannot use it n streamers will leave n sales will disappear

It appeared on my mobile app about a month ago then went away!! lol. Dark theme is better on some things yes, but you should still give a choice. I realize ur a company and only for the money, but, us old ones thats been here from the beginning should be listened to more that the teenagers who lie about their age.
