Probably because some of these anime characters have been used in movies, tv shows or games with violence, strong language and adult dialog. Also some of those anime characters have been used in anime porn.

The AI Nanny Bot lacks the ability to understand the context of how words and names are used in a sentence or conversation. It just detects when some words and names are used; words and names that at some point in time has been used in a non family friendly way online. The AI Nanny Bot wants to keep all her "children" safe from some imaginary malevolent and corrupting demons.

Think of the AI Nanny Bot as a over protective guardian that combs the internet for examples of the worst ways words and names have been used but so far only has the ability to enforce it's censorship on IMVU.

It's probably not wise to provoke the AI Nanny Bot because it will might tighten it's "stranglehold" and maybe even start reporting violations to IMVU staff. Hopefully it won't be given the ability to impose sanctions or penalties on those it has judged as guilty.
