I’ve made multiple tickets for my main account and it keeps. Saying yall are gonna contact me within 24-72 hours and I still haven’t got a email and im getting irritated. It keeps saying my account is on hold

Hello, @TerryInFlorida there is reason why your ticket is being slow . Please wait til imvu response to you if you don’t the ticket will get push down and be delay . You should be receiving soon 


@Guest was told you was receiving by imvu .

@Ashleyellen Sorry I wasn't trying to derail Guests post. I was frustrated and saw someone else with a similar issue. I do hope he gets his issue resolved.

Yes its been 11 days since IMVU last commented on my ticket.

he ticket looks more like a rap sheet by now.

The original ticket was placed on Feb 23, 2025

15 days ago I supplied the following information for both of my accounts,

- Avatar name (@sample)
- E-mail Address linked to the account
- Location where you created the account (city, state, country)
- What payment platform are you using for your purchases on this account?

Which I did, along with a photo copy of my drivers license. and a consent statement.


14 days ago I added a photo to the ticket of myself holding a paper that I had written the date on, also to prove who I am.

11 days ago I was asked for the following information,

  • PayPal Email used for the order
  • Name on the PayPal account


I replied to the request the same day, 11 days ago.

Then 9 days ago I wasn't sure I replied plain enough, so I stipulated what the answers I gave were specifically for.

I mispelled my email that I used, so the same day I corrected my eroor and replied again.

4 days ago I complained because it was taking soo long, because it had been over two weeks since I put in the ticket. I also added the paypal information that was requested 11 days ago again but in bigger text. I had no idea what the issue was.

1 day ago I simply updated the ticket with the question. "How can I get my account off of hold?"

1 day ago I also had created the second ticket out of frustration and simply because I had a feeling the ticket got dismissed, squirreled away or just forgotten by then. I cancelled the second ticket, since that is what you suggested.

It has to said that I have been on the IMVU site and logged in most every day, about 3 times a day most times, checking to see if the hold was lifted. Which is frustrating in and of itself. The excitement of getting back into the community has been replaced with dread about seeing my account keep starting out stating it has been placed on hold and to contact support everytime I logged in to check.

i also have two accounts. My developer account and my second regular account as IMVU had suggested to do.

Its been a wreck. I know they have a lot on their hands and its a daily grind. But its not been a picnic from my end either. I like Guest, just want my accounts back.

No problem. Make sure to communicate with imvu . And do your best to answer all the questions without skipping their questions.

Okay I appreciate that I Juss wanna be able to use my account I had it since 2015 my account is something I need and how long untill they can email me back

When imvu do email you just email them back without ticket website okay?

I’m not able to click nothing about the ticket cause I can’t login to the account even if I tried using this account it tells me it isn’t the same email

Your first old ticket has no response since 11 days ago ?

Hello @Guest you will confused imvu which ticket they need to reply to you . You only need 1 first old ticket . Please close other new tickets to help user not be confused . 


Ticket takes 5-7 days response .

I made a second ticket too. hoping it would get someones attention about the first ticket, I gave the original ticket number in the second ticket and my story about whats going on. 3 weeks is ridiculous...

Ive been working for 3 weeks to get my accounts off of being on hold, due to inactivity. I had a stroke in 2022, then my wife of 26 years passed in 2023, then my 82 yr old mother passed away at the end of 2024. So Ive been dealing with a lot of issues already. I finally got to a good place to rejoin IMVU and have been locked out. I gave them my accounts, my card information, my drivers license, a picture taken on the 28th holding a paper with the date written on it and they asked me about my paypal information 11 days ago, which I gave to them and have had no more correspondence with anyone since. I don't know what else I can do?

Ive had my accounts put on hold before but I have never had any problem at all in the past. Id say it was with 48 hours before and I had full access to my accounts again.

I have a developers account and a secondary account, which they advise to do when you have a developers account. I was really excited about being back but its beginning to feel like this is just adding to my disappoints instead. Like I need more issues.

I have a quarter of a million credits on my developers account. I'm not going to just let that account go. There has to be a next step. I've supplied more than enough information...

So I feel for you bud. You're not alone. I hope they get around to fixing this.
