Hi @Guest_Redgrave1 , when placing poses in an IMVU room, you might encounter errors if the pose doesn't align correctly with the room's layout or if the pose itself is not correctly formatted for IMVU. Some common issues include the pose not fitting within the room's structure or the pose being in the wrong orientation.

Here's a breakdown of potential problems and solutions:

1. Pose Placement Issues:

Incorrect Alignment:

The pose might not be properly aligned with the room's furniture or ground. IMVU poses need to be placed on specific nodes or anchor points within the room.

Pose Height:

The pose might be too high or too low, causing it to overlap with the room's floor or furniture.

Pose Rotation:

The pose might be rotated incorrectly, making it difficult to interact with or view within the room.

2. Pose Format Issues:

Unsupported Pose Format:

IMVU uses a specific pose format, and poses from other 3D programs might not be compatible.

Missing or Incorrect Metadata:

Poses might be missing essential information, such as the avatar's body type or the pose's intended behavior.

Scale Issues:

The pose might be scaled incorrectly, making it too big or too small for the room.

Solutions:

1. Check Pose Alignment:

Make sure the pose is placed on a furniture node or an anchor point within the room.

Adjust the pose's position and rotation using the IMVU tools until it's aligned correctly.

2. Verify Pose Format:

Use the IMVU Studio Toolkit to create poses, which ensures compatibility.

If using poses from other programs, ensure they are exported in a format that IMVU can import, such as FBX, COLLADA, or OBJ.

3. Adjust Pose Height and Scale:

Use the IMVU tools to adjust the pose's height and scale to fit within the room's layout.

4. Check for Errors:

IMVU Studio Toolkit or other relevant software might provide error messages if there are issues with the pose.

Refer to IMVU's documentation or support resources for troubleshooting specific error messages.

Example:

If you're placing a pose on a couch, make sure the pose is placed directly on the couch's seat and not slightly off-center. You might need to adjust the pose's position and rotation to ensure it sits correctly on the couch.
