Ok so I don’t actually have VR for IMVU (yet), but I tried recreating the layout of my room in VR just to see what it would feel like. Then I thought: what if you could hook up base stations to IMVU for some kind of hybrid tracking?
I know it’s not how it works, but has anyone tried something like this for fun? Just curious how close people are getting to making IMVU a VR world.

That sounds super fun. I haven’t seen full VR support for IMVU yet, but the idea of hybrid tracking is cool. Would love to see someone try to mod that in just for the experience.

Pretty much wishful thinking for now. IMVU does not support VR tracking, but it would be awesome if it did one day. Imagine walking around your rooms in full VR.

That actually sounds cool. I don't think IMVU's built for that yet, but imagine full VR with IMVU fits? Absolute fashion show in 3D.

That’s such a fun idea, honestly! IMVU isn’t built for VR tracking right now, but I’ve seen a few folks try to fake it with mocap setups or VSeeFace just for video content. It’s definitely more of a “for fun” experiment than something that works natively. Still, the thought of walking around an IMVU room in full VR sounds wild—in the best way. If the platform ever leans into VRChat-style interaction, I feel like a lot of longtime users would love it. For now though, it’s mostly just creative hacks and imagination.
