a friend has been trying to join me, but she has been unable to join my room on "imvu desktop - beta" even though she's a mod, a friend, and it's even public. it's "GA" room so she should be able to join regardless. she has cleared her cache, deleted and reinstalled the desktop app - beta (not client), and she has internet, so this is some sort of glitch or technical issue i bet. i'm gonna post my screenshots, proving that it's public and a GA room, and then i'm gonna post her screenshots..just for proof.
Thanks for sharing the details and screenshots. Since the room is set to Public and GA, and your friend is already a friend/mod, she should normally be able to join. If she can’t join through IMVU Desktop (Beta), this does sound like a technical issue or a Beta-related glitch.
Here are a few things to try:
Make sure she’s logged into the correct account (not an alt).
Have her try joining the room using the classic IMVU client instead of Desktop Beta, just to check if the issue is Beta-specific.
Confirm that both of you are using the latest version of IMVU Desktop (Beta).
Fully restart the app and the device, then try again.
If possible, try creating a new GA test room to see if the same issue happens there.
If the problem continues after trying these steps, the best option is to contact the official IMVU Support team, since they can investigate Desktop Beta issues in more detail.

Hi!

You can submit a support ticket here:

Please include the screenshots, both usernames, the room name, and mention that this is happening on IMVU Desktop (Beta).
Hope this helps!
