FAQ About Tipping (iOS)

Modified on Mon, 9 Sep at 12:29 AM

IMVU is proud to announce a new feature to Live Rooms known as Tipping, so that you can earn Credits for your talent as a Live Room Host!
  • Tipping is a way for Viewers to show appreciation towards a Live Room Host.
  • It is not necessary for the Host to be in their Live Room to receive a Tip from a Tipper.
  • Initial tipping starts at 500 Credits but Tippers have the option to give far larger amounts.
  • Tips received by the Host will automatically be added to the total amount of Credits on the Host’s account.
  • Tipping will default to being publicly displayed. The larger the Tip, the longer it is publicly displayed to everyone in the Live Room. A Tipper also has the option to make their Tip private.
  • A Host will receive notifications when they are tipped regardless of whether the Tip is done privately or publicly.
  • Tipping is currently only available on iOS Mobile but will be coming to Android later in 2020.
