Want to take a picture of your scene, exactly as you see it? You can use the *hiressnap and *hiresnobg codes! These let you take snapshots without having to use the camera feature. These pictures can then be shared directly to social media or any image sharing service. You can also edit these pictures before sharing!
You can use the *hiressnap code to take pictures "as is", reproducing your scene exactly as it appears on your screen. The *hiresnobg code, on the other hand, lets you take pictures of the avatars on the scene without the background.
To use these codes, follow these simple steps:
STEP 1. Log into IMVU Classic (IMVU Client). If you have difficulties logging in, click here.
STEP 2. Go to a Room of your choice. This can be your own or any Chat Room.
STEP 3. Once in the Room, click on the Chat Bubble icon and type *hiressnap in the chat box. To take a picture without the background, use *hiresnobg.
STEP 4. The screen will freeze for a second. Afterwards, go to your Desktop and you will find a .png file with the name hiressnapshot1.
That's it! Enjoy snapping those pics!
NOTE: This feature is being phased out from Shop Mode, however you can still use this with any product you own in your Room, or with any product in the Rooms you visit. This feature does not work on the IMVU Website or IMVU Mobile.
