I'd like to change my password.

Like any other Internet service, your password holds the key to your IMVU account. If you'd like to change your password for security purposes, simply follow the easy steps below.

STEP 1: Log into your IMVU account.

STEP 2: On the upper-right corner, click on Account Settings.

STEP 3: On the right hand side under Account Tools select Change password.

STEP 4: Enter your current password and your new one. Re-type the password for confirmation.

STEP 5: Click Continue.

And that's it!

If you're on IMVU Next or Desktop, you may follow the steps in this video instead:

Please note that IMVU does not store your passwords in its database. This way, no one else can obtain it. On the other hand, you cannot request for your password, neither. If you forget your password, you will have to change it to a new one using this tool.
