Remember, music on IMVU must be played with a minimum of two or more users in a chat room. Before you can play be sure to start a chat with a buddy or friend or enter a public room. You cannot open a chat window by yourself and just listen to music. If you are not chatting with a friend when you try to start your music mix, you will receive an error message.
Once you are in a room chatting with someone you can begin playing your music. To get started click on the Music (musical note icon) on the toolbar at the bottom of your chat window.
