On IMVU Desktop and through the IMVU Website
STEP 1. Login to your account, go to your inbox and search for the avatar name of your friend to whom you want to leave a gift.
STEP 2. Click on the profile of your friend and on the profile page click the Gift icon.
STEP 3. Select wishlist as a gift type to see items that you can give.
STEP 4. Choose an item you want to give, check out and you are good!

On IMVU Classic Website
STEP 1. Go to your friends list on IMVU and select the profile of the user you want to give an item to.
STEP 2. Click the Profile option to view your friend's homepage.
STEP 3. Under the Contact Me section, select Leave a message.
STEP 4. Select an item you want to give, leave a message and click Send.
On IMVU Classic (IMVU Client)
STEP 1. Login to your account on IMVU Classic.
STEP 2. Go to Friends tile and select the profile of your friend to whom you want to send a gift.
STEP 3. Choose among the items from your friend’s wishlist or to your own giftlist, click Send to continue.
