Now, there is a way for AP users to stop seeing AP products while in a room!
This feature will be useful for those who wish to stop seeing AP items temporarily, or for those who are AP but wish to take photos that can be shared to everyone in the Feed (even if there is another AP user wearing AP-only products, or if there are AP-themed items in the room).
On the other hand, if you are currently unable to see AP items, you can toggle them on using the same steps.
To toggle seeing AP content, do the following:
STEP 1. Log into IMVU on your browser. If you have issues logging in, check out this article.
STEP 2. Go to Account Settings & Tools. If you are using a mobile phone, simply copy the link: www.imvu.com/catalog/web_myaccount.php and open it through your mobile's default browser.
STEP 3. Under Promotion & Feature Settings, click on the button for Cannot see or wear AP products in 3D scenes to turn off seeing AP items. To turn them back on, click the button for Can see and wear AP products in 3D scenes. This is the current default.
STEP 4. To save your settings, click on the Update Promotion & Feature Settings button below.
STEP 5. For the feature to take effect, log out and restart the Chat Software, and log back in.
The Cannot see or wear AP feature turns off the Chat Software's rendering of AP items, so your view (and any resulting photos) will be completely GA! The reverse will restore the rendering to normal.
