What are the exact Sales, Creation and Bonus Point activities needed for each Tier level?

Since we may have the need to adjust these levels over time, especially in the next couple of months, we are not announcing the exact numbers at this time.

Do products need to go through Peer Review to be counted in the Tiers System?

Creation metrics don’t require Peer Review. Sales metrics and Sellable Items require Peer Review.

Will Peer Review Take Longer because of the new Tiers System?

We’re always actively monitoring Peer Review to make sure there are enough voters to handle the load. After the first 24 hours, products are passing through Peer Review at the same speed as they were before this Tiers change.

Why should I do Peer Review when people are just getting kicked out anyway?

We remove Peer Review privileges for one of two reasons: voting Pass on a very obvious UFI product or not consistently voting with the majority outcome of the product. There’s a misconception that if you correctly fail a product and it ultimately passes that you are at risk of losing your voting privileges. This is not true. We actually expect that most active Peer Reviewers should NOT be at 100% accuracy, and the rule that removes people from Peer Review takes that into account. Also, starting March 3, 2020, we have started rewarding reviewers with extra promotional credits when they find a broken or incorrectly rated product and end up being right! Learn more about this in this article.

Why is the Greeter Program included?

We want to recognize Creators who contribute to the community. If you are unable to join this program we encourage you to participate in Peer Review.

Are Helpers included in the "Greeter & Community Volunteers"?

Helpers are normally not included but IMVU Staff reserve the right to make exceptions for long term Helpers who have been exceptional in the IMVU Discussions.

Why are Creation metrics included in the Tiers System? Won’t that cause Creators to flood the catalog?

Creation was included in the previous Tiers System and we feel this is a vital part of being an IMVU Creator. Creators can only achieve a maximum of 45 points for Creating. We think this safety net will de-motivate Creators from flooding their catalogs.

Why are my “New Mesh Submissions” and “New Texture and Animation Submissions” not being counted?

New submissions are calculated each month and your current Tier is based on the previous month of activity. So in June your metrics will reflect activity between May 1 and May 31. This is why products submitted in the current month aren’t affecting your Tier level.

I don’t understand what Minimum Requirements means.

Each Tier level requires that you have a certain number of products in your catalog. In addition, Tiers 8, 9 and 10 require a minimum number of products created in the last 60 days. These are separate metrics from the “New Mesh Submissions” and “New Texture and Animation Submissions.”

What is the Maximum Points column in the “My Tier” Dashboard?

The maximum Points column shows the highest number of points a Creator can achieve for a category or a metric (activity).

Category - the maximum number of points you can get for the Sales category is 70 points. The maximum number of points you can get for the Creation category is 45 points. The maximum for Bonus Points is 45.

Metric (activity) - here are two examples of maximum points for metrics (activities). The maximum number of points you can get for “Product Sold” is 30. The maximum number of points you can get for Peer Review is also 30.

In the “My Tier” Dashboard what’s the difference between “Total Points Achieved” and “Total Points?”

“Total Points Achieved” are the actual points you earned. “Total Points” are what you receive after Maximum Points are factored in.

Here's an example:

  • You earn 60 points for Creation. That is your “Total Points Achieved”

  • “Maximum Points” allows up to 45 points for Creation

  • Your “Total Points” for Creation is 45 (after the “Maximum Points” is factored in)

The “My Tier” Dashboard date range is confusing. How do I read it?

Your Tier level is determined by your activity from the previous calendar month. If your date range is “2020-May-01 and 2020-Jun-01” your Tier score is looking at the month of May, or May 1 through 31.
