You do realize that this will drive away the rest of the creators that were already holding on to a thread. I know of several older creators that are leaving and setting their catalogs on display only. This is NOT going to work for the people that you basically rode to get where IMVU is now. its not fair to us. Some of us mesh and create for fun and knew we would never get rich doing this, but we stayed. We stayed until you made it difficult for us to even earn a dime. IMVU is losing all the creators/meshers you fought to get.. They are moving on to other platforms where this kind of thing isnt as difficult nor as stupid. You really need to RETHINK how this works for us.

I don't know who we can ask now, but I'm sure I'm not going to accept paying Vip to get paid.

@RigsK​ I have some questions and concerns that I hope you can help me with.

1. "Grandfathered accounts that are grouped with a VIP account, will need to apply for the Earn Money Program within 30 after being grouped. If they do not, they will lose their Earn Money status." - Can you please clarify, this is only for grandfathered accounts that are not signed up to the Earn Money program right? We don't all need to reapply if we are already earning cash, is that correct?
2. Between July 1 and July 30, what happens with our linked accounts' income? Will the income still be in cash and still kept separate to our main VIP account? Are we still able to cash out from out linked accounts?
3. Many people do not want their incomes combined. We like to be able to keep track of each account's earnings. If you are insisting on this option, can you at least provide us with more comprehensive reporting tools? For example let us see a snapshot of our sales or income for the day, month, year, or other time period - for each linked account. Let us track the proportion of promo sales. Let us compare different time periods so we can see trends.
4. Will the full pended amount on our linked accounts be added to the pend of our main VIP account?
5. The yearly VIP subscription is a big issue for me. It's very unfair that it can only be obtained via phone. This makes things very difficult for people in other countries (some countries are even completely excluded). People who cannot speak English well or at all are excluded. People in different time zones will find it difficult to call during the time the phone line is open. Plus there's the cost of an international phone call. Please consider making it purchasable via the web store.
6. Combined MASAs - for higher earners this could result in them being bumped up to the 10k cap. That is extremely unfair.
7. "Between July 1 and July 30, Earn Money accounts with less than $50 can convert their balances into Credits." - Isn't this just theft? Credits cost IMVU nothing. Let people withdraw their full final amount of cash.

IMVU thinking and since we are not getting any feed back as to why they are doing this many are coming up with their own conclusion. My own thoughts on this are, they have lost revenue to poor decisions, higher up have said you need to claw some of it back, how can we do this, see how much Masa is sitting there. Lets force them to pay for vip to get their cash, it is a win win for us as we will get paid for the vip they can get their cash and Masa is left untouched. If they don't they can still play the game create items for us for free and we win there as well, we have it in the contract for grandfathered so we are covering that part of the obligation. If devs walk we have enough with vip already to make sales and items in the shops. Why have i come to this process of thought is, why would they have a cut of date for your cash to be paid out if it hasn't reached the 50. Why do they not have a system where you can no longer make funds but can still cash out what ever remaining Masa funds and left over cash is their.

I can't believe the lack of professionalism to dump such an important message in "just another IMVU message". I don't get most IMVU messages. I've been waiting over a week for my payment request to be processed.

I was looking over some backlogged IMVU messages to see what my next project should be, and I see THIS NOTICE! I didn't even get a message on the Create Payment page, telling me this was the issue delaying my payment.

I know we don't garner much human respect. We're all just faceless numbers and seem to have little protection from the law. But this is a new low.

This is why my payment request has been stalled out?!?! I needed that money for RENT! Why didn't I get a message about this directly? Most of these IMVU messages never even reach me!

As for the money, yes, it's bull****. They already charge us for submissions, they give us tokens instead of money for around half our sales, they hold on to our money for 2 weeks, they control the conversion rate to dollars, makes us wait days for a human to approve access to our own money, and just for sh*t's and giggles, they even cap our earnings if we finally get good sales.

It's all so inhumane... but I can't see what we can do about it. Without law action, we seem to be trapped.

Ikr. It's just a theory. I'm trying to figure this out - I find it extremely hard to believe that forcing maybe a few hundred creators to join VIP would be a significant revenue bump. I don't know how many grandfathered creators are left, but there can't be that many of us. There has to be something else at play here.

I can't imagine hobbyists would bring them in that much money. It's the big creators that get most sales.

If the amount of money they earn is smaller or near close to the amount they have to pay to continue creating I dont see any point in continuing.

This is almost insulting for the majority out there who kept giving - constantly giving. And proposing. Offering ideas and thinking and wasting their time in hopes of a staff open to said proposals. Understand this - the time for such thoughts is gone. Imvu has clearly shown it's sttuborn behaviour and lack of communication and connection with us all, and none of this you are trying to say stands. Simply - because it does not exist. Is just so much dust in the eye, like the bitter pill they are now serving and trying to fakely-sweeten with " link 3 accounts" or " not fully loose catalogues" and other such like things. But the truth stands - unethical and unfair moves towars what should be the most valuable figures on this platform (its creators), ON TOP of years of ignorance towards feedback and suggestions. This is not a first, and surely it shall not be last. The time when you yourself will reach that point in which enough is enough - remember this answer from this random stranger.

At least there is one creator still enjoying to pamper up this company, even when they are so obviously unethical and unfair. But bright futures and nonsense and all those stories about friendships and what not are things of the past. Those are precisely the values this new imvu shattered from their platform, and NO amount of pampering will bring any of it back. Good luck with it all. Imvu has ceased to be what it was. The new staff has constantly ignored its users, and now is pulling the last straw. And that's the truth of it all. If they DO have a new client base to keep things afloat, I do not see it here. So there goes that. Pity, but to each... their own.
