hi @Mariebrat and to answer your Q, yes because General Audience is for ages 14 and up, and the photo isn't something suitable for minors, and as far as I know, imvu's only adult photo area is in the AP forums where we can post pics like this.
Even if the clothing item we're wearing meets GA standards, if we're using it in an adult way, it no longer meets the same standards. Try a different pose and a different room, like a beach where it makes more sense to wear a skimpy swimsuit.
I use to get easily confused my first few years here, got so tired of driving myself nuts on how to understand this, had to just cut things short and simplify, so I tell myself this now: "If it feels weird showing a 14 year old, then it's not GA!"

@ PixelPusher. Yes there is a lot of improvements that need to happen on this site. But as I sated before complaining in house the complaint stays in house and ignored. Complaining offsite on social media where many will see it or to the people who regulate online games and can force action gets results. I sure would like my avatar to walk and I would love for them to fix the rating of featured rooms. The rooms are all suppose to be GA rated but some of the filthy stuff written as keywords is straight up hardcore porno. The only GA about them is when you GAsp looking at the description.

IMVU needs to get some programmers working to fix and improve the program. It is like a dinosaur and here we are in 2025 and still nothing worth being here for. People are leaving and they will continue to leave if you just keep taking from the customers and not show an interest in their wants and needs. Tell your stock holders to give in and invest in the program to update and give customers incentive to want to come here. I see a heavy loss of customers and the trend is continuing.
This game should update this dot hopping to a walking freely format for one. If you continue to just watch the profits drop, they will. Do something for the program for once.

Srry for reposting basically the same post 4 times but there was some glitch in the system causing extra commas, periods and semicolons to be added to the post. What I was proof reading before clicking the post comment button and what was actually posted were not the same. The 4th time the post looks like it looked when proof read. Let's hope no gremlins alter what I posted to troll me as revenge for speaking up and expressing customer concerns.

Also let's us not forget that IMVU users will lose all their expensive AP+ toys / inventory that they invested so much money in if they get their AP+ revoked.
One of the ways an AP+ could get revoked would be if their monthly subscription fee wasn't paid on time for some reason; maybe a net banking / transfer glitch. We often experience that net banking fails due to many other different reasons as well.
Regardless of reason the bottom line is that if IMVU isn't paid on time every month for the AP+ then it gets revoked and the IMVU user lose all their expensive AP+ toys.
It would not surprise me if one could get AP+ revoked for other reasons as well.
A "privilege" is actually a burden because one needs to play nice and be a loyal team player to keep the "privilege". Every corporation keeps tabs on their customers, potential future customers, competitors and critics; some call this a social credit system.

Ugh, for some reason it won't let me type in anything but bold font. Sorry.
I have been a creator/user for 16 years, and after fiascos such as badges, which were fielded as an advertising tool originally for creators and then that promise was broken because they never worked for linking in classic, as well as other 'products' such as NFTs, AP+ is just another money grab foisted on the ignorant. IMVU pretends that they're the only product, let alone that in the realm of the so-called adult product that people get an infinitely cheaper and better deal if they go to the competitors.
The executives at IMVU really should go to the five pages of Urban Dictionary dedicated to IMVU and get a wakeup call. Over various CEOs IMVU has attained and shed tens of millions of users. Better policy decisions that are not based upon short term gains would have the current online population at any one time at probably ten to twenty times the number of users. But instead of responding to the actual customer, IMVU has a level of management that exists between the decision makers and the user so that they don't actually have to interact with their customer base. Rather than actually reading the forums, they rely upon surveys. I suspect the majority of surveys are filled out by new users - users who have been cultivated to harvest surveys for credits, and have an average account lifespan of 30 days. Good job, paying attention to a slanted minority. The old guard of IMVU almost never fill out surveys because we know that IMVU never really pays attention to what we actually have to say. The last time I bothered to post the truth, much like I am now, staff responded by wanting to delete my account. But, I will point out - I didn't add any of those urban dictionary entries. That's the reputation IMVU has fostered for itself.

I would like to formally bring to your attention a number of community posts and discussions regarding the newly introduced AP+ tier. When I first joined IMVU in 2009, acquiring Access Pass (AP) was a milestone I eagerly anticipated—it was a privilege worth waiting for.
Regrettably, over the years, the appeal, necessity, and overall value of AP have steadily declined. It is increasingly perceived as little more than an enhanced version of General Access (GA). Many users feel that the essence of what AP once represented is being gradually eroded, and that IMVU is now steering us toward yet another tier—AP+—which imposes an additional monthly financial burden.
Based on numerous user comments and feedback, including from those who currently hold AP+, the consensus appears to be that the new tier is overpriced and does not offer sufficient value to justify the cost. If AP+ were offered as a one-time upgrade fee for existing AP holders, it might be more appealing to some. However, under the current model, I, along with many others, do not intend to subscribe to this new offering

about to say something very truthful ’m GLAD imvu is declining. they overprice everything. they ban people left and right for the dumbest of reasons and send ads out so people can buy credits, vcoins, vip etc. the mods are stuff. 60% of imvu are child predators and IMVU does nothing to prevent it. they seen a uprise in the game and started getting money hungry and it died. there’s nothing IMVU can do to get people playing again. i remember playing on the classic and seeing over 204k people online. it dropped to 70k in 2023. and it's now at 38k

Ok but this is a outfit that imvu said was GA and it also has there mark on it as I have shown in the next pictures ! So why should anyone be able to flag it on feed there has to be better guild lines then just if it offence someones ! If that was the case I could flag everyone on feed and just say it offences me ! Is this what IMVU wants ?
If you want the correct answer then you will have to ask the IMVU Staff because it is only them who can make such a decision when there is a violation of the user guidelines.
It is better to practice caution and avoid taking unnecessary risks.
Don't provoke or offend others.
Don't disobey the user guidelines.
