Why Was I Removed from Peer Review?

I recently noticed that I have been removed from participating in Peer Review, and I’m seeking clarification as to why this decision was made. I’ve always made a conscious effort to follow the Peer Review guidelines when casting my votes.

However, I’ve noticed a concerning trend where some of my votes have been marked as incorrect by IMVU, even though I believe they align with the established standards. For example, I reviewed a shirt that was marked for a General Audience but, in my assessment, should have been flagged as AP due to insufficient coverage when zoomed in. I failed the item based on this, but IMVU rated my vote as incorrect.

Here is an example of one of the outfits that were falsely rated as incorrect by IMVU: https://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=69240992.

Altogether, I have 14 votes that I believe were falsely rated. I’m trying to understand why these votes were deemed incorrect and how I can better match IMVU’s expectations in the future.

Has anyone else experienced this, or can someone from the team clarify how these decisions are made? I’d really appreciate any guidance or insight.

Unless more IMVU users start peer reviewing products then don't expect newly derived products to be processed any faster than newly derived products currently are.

About nine months ago, I shared a post about losing my Peer Review privileges after some of my votes were marked as incorrect, even though I had followed the guidelines. At that time, I went through live chat and was eventually reinstated.

Now, I have been removed from Peer Review again. IMVU continues to mark my votes as incorrect, even when I thoroughly check each product against the minimum coverage standards. For example, the outfit I mentioned in my original post is still available for GA users in the shop today, even though it clearly should not be. When you zoom in, you can literally see the entire breast area, which does not meet the coverage guidelines for a GA product. IMVU, however, ruled my vote as wrong. The product link is in my original post.

This is not an isolated situation; it has happened multiple times with other products. At this point, it feels clear that IMVU does not want me reviewing products, so I am not going to bother asking for reinstatement again. Honestly, I am just over Peer Review.

you’re not alone. I was banned from peer review for almost the same reason, too many incorrect votes yet what they consider incorrect, is incorrect in itself.

Any product I failed, was incorrect. Products I passed, were incorrect. I protested to them three times & they just gave me the same auto-written answer that has no solution or basis.

Atp, I’m bloody glad they banned me. if they’re going to be so darn picky about what’s right & wrong- maybe they should finally take control of the review system themselves, instead of pawning off the work to LITERALLY ANY USER. if they wanna censor everything so badly, but also allow nudity through general audience- they can do it on their own.
