Anyone else constantly getting their submissions to feature your room to be in themed rooms rejected? I constantly change my room, and tried different layouts & follow the criteria & yet it still gets rejected.

I tried everything you stated but this that I quoted. For that, would I uninstall IMVU then re-install from the website?

Hi @LovelyCraft, A rejected IMVU featured room submission often occurs due to several factors. IMVU rules state that the room picture must showcase the entire room, not just parts or with avatars, and the room description needs to be detailed. Additionally, copyright issues, inappropriate room themes (including names), and exceeding the file size limit (6 MB for rooms) are common reasons for rejection.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Technical Issues:

File Size:

Rooms have a size limit of 6 MB (6144 KB). Submissions exceeding this limit will be rejected.

Rendering Errors:

Problems with your IMVU Studio or software can lead to issues with the room's rendering, making it appear incorrectly in the platform. According to IMVU support, this might involve clearing the cache, reinstalling IMVU Studio, or troubleshooting WebGL errors.

Software Issues:

If IMVU Studio is not running correctly or if there are conflicts with your operating system, your room submission could be impacted.

Room-Related Issues:

Room Picture:

.

The featured room picture must show the entire room, not just a part of it, and it should not include avatars. A poorly chosen image can lead to rejection.

Room Description:

.

The room description needs to be detailed and informative, providing enough information for users to understand the room's purpose and theme.

Room Theme:

.

The room's theme and name should be appropriate for the IMVU community, according to their guidelines. https://support.imvu.com/support/solutions/articles/154000197056-how-do-i-submit-a-themed-room-

Copyright:

.

Ensure the room's content does not infringe on any copyrighted material. Using copyrighted images, music, or other assets without permission can lead to rejection.

Peer Review and IMVU Review:

Peer Review:

IMVU's peer review system involves other creators evaluating your submission. If the review is inconclusive, it will be sent to IMVU for review.

Content Re-rating:

If your content has been previously re-rated, it may trigger a need for re-review.

Troubleshooting Steps:

Clear Cache and Reinstall IMVU Studio:

.

IMVU's support documentation suggests this can help resolve technical issues.

Run IMVU Studio as Administrator:

.

This can help resolve permission issues that might be preventing the software from functioning correctly.

Disable Antivirus and Firewall:

.

Sometimes, antivirus software can interfere with IMVU Studio. Try temporarily disabling it while submitting your room.

Check Internet Connection:

.

A weak internet connection can cause problems with uploading or submitting your room.

Review Room and Description:

.

Ensure your room meets the criteria and that the description is detailed and informative.

Consult IMVU Support:

.

If you're still having issues, IMVU's support team can assist.
