My ex husbands account was disabled and we are no longer together. But I am unsure of how to divorce his account if it’s no longer there :/

If a product is purchased then the person who bought it should be able to keep it regardless of who they are or are not friends with. In this case the product is the ability to share a room; not the specific room itself.
This would mean that the person who bought the ability to share a room could offer to share a room with another friend. The previous room that was shared would be deleted and it would open up the shared room slot. Then the process of choosing a room shell and placing furniture into it starts up.
Unfortunately this is not what actually happens and customers have to spend more money if they want to share rooms again. Until this changes I will not be purchasing shared rooms.
The best way to gain customers is to respect them and by making them feel good about the products they purchased.

@Petrazenka. I would think if a break up happen and one party deleted their link to a shared room it would not effect the other party still entering that room, but in my case it did affect me the room disappeared. That was so sad. The break up didn't last but a hot minute and the room is back shared but it was surprising and had me making big time stink face to see it gone.

The purchase of a room that can be shared should not be bound to any specific person; meaning that one should be able to change whom one wants to share with.

Question: Is the marriage Icon still showing on your profile or things you had together still there? I'm asking because i had a break up and our shared room disappeared. So it would seem to me if his account is gone so is all your ties to him. Unless all that happen was a name change humm better get staff support to answer this.
