As always, make sure to only download and update IMVU Classic directly from IMVU.com!
IMVU for Mac can be installed by downloading the .DMG file. Follow these instructions for installation:
STEP 1. Go to the IMVU Downloads page and download the latest version for Mac.
STEP 2. Once the file downloads, double-click it. The .DMG will now be available in the Finder sidebar and on the Desktop. Also, a new Finder window will appear showing the file's contents.
STEP 3. Drag the IMVU icon from this window into the Applications icon (either in the same window or in the Fiinder sidebar.)
STEP 4. Wait for the copying to finish.
STEP 5. Eject the .DMG file by clicking the Eject button in your Sidebar. Afterwards, you can delete the .DMG file from your downloads folder.
