In the latest versions of IMVU Classic, users are guided through some basic actions to help them explore more about the game. To unlock other home screen buttons, follow the steps below:
Unlocking Other Home Screen Buttons in IMVU Classic
STEP 1: Access the Classic chat module.
STEP 2: Upon first log in, you can immediately jump into Chatting via Chat Now or view potential matches via our Get Matched feature. If you would like to explore more of the game on your own, you may click the Skip button.
STEP 3: At this point, some of the buttons are inaccessible. Click on those that are, and play around with the different features. Note that at some points, you will get on-screen prompts about the actions you can do.
STEP 4: Once you've explored a button, close it and proceed to the next. Eventually, the remaining home screen buttons will be unlocked.
STEP 5: Remember to explore all the unlocked buttons to get to the others! Some buttons can only be unlocked once you have played around with the basics of the game (chat, dress up, shop) and visited the other available options.
Also, note that some buttons cannot be unlocked unless you have purchased the relevant upgrades (Shared Room and Our Room).
